Registering to Use the Site

  1. Navigate to the vwlabs.com.
  2. Click on the "Sign Up" button provided in the left column.
  3. Once you submit your registration information (opt-in #1), we’ll send a confirmation to your email address.
  4. Retrieve your email and click on the activation link (opt-in #2).

    If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check spam filtering locations to see if it was flagged as spam. To minimize the risk of our emails being mistaken as spam, we recommend that you add "support@vwlabs.com" and "no-reply@vwlabs.com" to your address book.
  5. Clicking the activation link will send you directly to vwlabs.com and you’ll be signed in automatically.

Congratulations! You’re now ready to use the site.


Compatibility with Your Vehicle

Some features on vwlabs.com are only available on VW navigation systems.

For example, if you have an RNS Midline, when you press the "NAV" hard key, then the "Dest" softkey, you could see either screen below.

The screen on the right supports the PictureNav Tool while one on the left does not.


Why can't I find my activation email?

First, please make sure you’ve entered your email correctly. If you have, then there’s a chance that the email was treated as spam and sent to Trash or a reserved spam bin. Try searching for a recent email sent from "no-reply@vwlabs.com". To minimize the risk of our emails being mistaken as spam in the future, we recommend that you add "support@vwlabs.com" and "no-reply@vwlabs.com" to your address book.
